The long - awaited Prabhu Yesu Mohotsav – The Indian Mission Congress took off at Mumbai – at the Diocesan Seminary (St. Pius College – Goregoan) on the 14th Oct., 2009. His Eminence Oswald Cardinal Gracias hosted the Congress as its president. The pro-nuncio of India Most Rev. Pedro Lopez Quintana was present too; along with almost 115 Bishops, Superiors General, Priests, lay delegates, taking the count upto almost 1500 delegates. Key representatives of all the three Rites in India were present too.

Our School, Apostolic Carmel High School, Bandra, was asked to present the main dance of the Closing Function; two of our students (you see them here) gave a telling and meaningful commentary and introduction to the dance.
